Ministries for Spirit and Mind

Bible Study
We just completed two sessions of Covenant Bible Study, a comprehensive 24-session Bible study that engages participants in conversation about our relationship with God, our relationship with others, and our relationship with the world around us. New opportunities for bible study will be offered in Fall 2015.

Theology Uncorked
Theology Uncorked is a small group ministry dedicated to practical theology: we are born in love, to love and to be loved. Loving Actually? What does our shared belief in Creator, community, connection and personal transformational growth mean in the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives? Can we expand our thinking of the sacred to include the ordinary and behold the holy in everything? Our monthly gathering focuses on various topics related to spirituality and whole-hearted living. We gather in a home setting with healthy snacks, wine, tea, coffee and intentional conversation in small group sharing circles. The only requirement is an open mind, heart and respect for the journeys we all walk. Please contact Pastor Stephanie if you are interested in attending.

Adult Forum
Adult Forum meets every Sunday morning at 9:10 am in the 1st Floor Parlor.  We are currently reading and discussing Rev. Dr. Cheryl Anderson’s Ancient Laws and Contemporary Controversies: The Need for Inclusive Biblical Interpretation.
