History
Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church has been serving the Oak Park community for over 125 years. Euclid has a long history of community action and social justice. One of the church’s first pastors was Rev. Harry F. Ward, the founder of the Methodist Federation for Social Action.
We have been inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and families and a member of the Reconciling Ministries network since 1980. We believe that Jesus was radically inclusive. Our commitment to diversity extends to include people of all races, gender, economic status, age, and ability. We believe that all people are loved by God and welcome in our community.
Rev. Tony Asta serves as our current pastor. Our worship style is both liturgically rich and eclectic. Throughout the year, we offer ongoing spiritual formation programming for children, youth, and adults
