Come for that marvelous dinner prepared by Robyn Thurston and think about Jesus and King Herod who “wanted to get him!” We know the story of the Wise Ones who protested in action when Herod asked how to find the baby Jesus. The Wise Ones knew that Herod wanted to find and kill the baby. So the they essentially saved Jesus by their going “home by another way.”

Children today are often orphaned, neglected, abused, or even potentially killed. They are often “saved” by foster care or adoption. Come to hear Euclid UMC member Heather Lindstrom speak of foster care and adoption from her own experience and from all she has learned over the years in the foster care and adoption system with her three children. For you who may have been adopted, in foster care, or if you have adopted or foster cared for a child or children come and add to the discussion.

(We will be accepting pledges for UMW for 2020. We hope to raise at least $4500 for mission for women, children and youth in 2020. If you cannot come to the meeting but would like to pledge, see Sue Terry.)
